Welcome back to a new semester!  ITSC is pleased to provide some updates on student support for teaching and learning.

1. User Accounts

You have two accounts:
· MyHSU
o Student number to login eCampus, computers, Wifi, Moodle and SSLVPN.
o (Student number)@myhsu.hk to login MS applications (Office, Outlook, etc.)

· Google – (Student number)@hsu.edu.hk to login Google applications (Gmail, Drive, etc.)

2. eCampus and HSUHK App

Our portal for information, services, and applications.
· Login: MyHSU account/password
· Link: https://ecampus.hsu.edu.hk, or
· Search [HSUHK Mobile] from App Store/Google Play

3. MoodleYour Moodle courses are ready. You may:
· Login to Moodle using MyHSU account (Student number)
· Link: https://moodle.hsu.edu.hk

· Post messages to students in the announcement forum (students will receive notifications).

4. Mail Groups
The mail groups for lessons will be ready by 02 September allowing you to send emails to students.

I forget my MyHsu account password.
What should I do?​

1. Go to ecampus.hsu.edu.hk

2. Click on the RHS click “Forget your password” 

3.  Follow the procedure to reset your eCampus & Windows password 

[Staff] Enabling 2 factor authentication for Microsoft 365

Dear all,
   If you have enabled the captioned service, please ignore this message.
 
   ITSC will enable 2-factor authentication (2FA) for Microsoft 365 similar to those for Google and eCampus services to strengthen the security protection against identity theft. The implementation will be enforced by phases:
    •  All administrative staff by Jan 28
    •  Other staff by Feb 11
   After you log in using a Microsoft account (i.e., xxx@myhsu.hk), an additional 2FA code will be required to access the below services:
  1. Microsoft Applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  2. Online Office website (i.e., office.com)
